North Geelong has avoided legal proceedings after settling out of court with former coach Michael Boothey.
Boothey, who was sacked nine games into a two-season contract in mid-2023, sought a payout from the Magpies equal to the remainder of the deal.
It is understood the matter was headed for court this week before a settlement was reached, with both Boothey and the club confirming the end of the saga to K rock Football.

North Geelong was winless when it made the decision to let the Barwon Heads Team of the Decade member go.
