Corangamite MP LIBBY COKER says the addition of parcel lockers at Armstrong Creek’s shopping centre would be a big win for the suburb.
She says it would ease issues in the lead up to Christmas to be able to access lockers instead of waiting in line.
“Armstrong Creek is continuing to grow so quickly, and we need to make sure that our community resources are future-proof, and Australia Post will play a key role in making that happen,” she said.
She added she had regularly spoken with locals who had been forced to wait close to half an hour at the post office for their packages.
A poll on the issue is on her facebook page.
“Once we have enough data, I’ll go back to Australia Post and share the results so that we can get the best outcome for Armstrong Creek.”
