It’s set to be hot across Geelong and the Surf Coast, with the Bureau of Meteorology putting heatwave warnings in place.
Sunday is headed for a top of 38 degrees, Monday 39, and a slightly cooler 33 on Tuesday.
The heat will be having an impact on a number of events and facilities across the region.

The Surf Coast Shire Council has announced the Torquay Library will have extended opening hours, offering people the chance to come in and cool off from the heat.
It’ll be open an extra two hours on Sunday, from 1.30pm-6pm, and an extra half an hour on Monday and Tuesday, from 10am-6pm.
The elite men are taking to the course for Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race on Sunday.
Spectators are advised to wear sunscreen, drink lots of water, and seek shade.
