The teenager accused with killing Geelong father of three Paul Grapsas is due in court for a committal mention.
Police have spent months preparing their case against Bailey Clifford, who was arrested in September days after Mr Grapsas was found dead near his Eastern Beach home.
Investigators have gone through 500 hours of CCTV footage, mobile phone records and biological exhibits for today’s court case at the Geelong Magistrate’s.
Clifford was 18 when he allegedly attacked Mr Grapsas, who was out on a late night dog walk near Western Beach Road.
His body was discovered on Malone Street on the morning of September 14 by his wife who was expecting their third child at the time.
It took police just five days to track down the 40-year-old’s alleged killer
Clifford has remained in custody since his arrest, turning 19 in October.
