The AFL is set to look into Geelong coach Chris Scott’s new role with Morris Finance.
Last week, Scott was announced as the chief of leadership and performance at the company, a club sponsor.
The AFL is reportedly looking into the arrangement in regards to the soft cap, which limits football department spending, including on coaches.

The AFL has constantly monitored third-party deals, and no suggestion of wrongdoing exists.
Last week, Scott responded to questions on the issue, saying it was essentially the formalisation of a prior agreement.
“It really is just the formalisation of something we’ve been working on for a long time.”
