A new kindergarten in Belmont is a step closer, after the appointment of an architect for the project.
Oberon Primary School Kindergarten is due to open in the early stages of 2026.
The Victorian government has announced Perkins Architects has been selected to design the new facility, that will provide up to 66 kinder places.

Member for Christine Couzens said it was good news for local families to have the kinder close to schools.
“This Kindergarten will allow families to keep their children nearby in their own community, giving parents and carers more quality time to focus on caring and less time spent travelling to access such services,” she said.
