Avalon could get a bit busier in coming days as people make their way in for the Grand Final.
It’s been announced that Qantas and Virgin have both added extra flights to Melbourne airport in order to get people into the city ahead of the grand final.
However, some tickets remain on flights into Avalon airport.
Five planes will fly into Avalon each day from Sydney between tomorrow (Wednesday) and Friday, with flights tomorrow ranging between $179 and $339.
By comparison, a flight to Tullamarine on the same airline would cost you a maximum of $566 on the same days.
Prices increase considerably across the next two days, with the flights ranging between $411 and $504.
There are 18 flights from Brisbane into Avalon from Wednesday to Friday, with prices falling between $229 on Wednesday to $641 on Friday.
A flight to Tullamarine on the same airline would cost a maximum of $670.
Up to 4,000 seats have been added on some routes to get fans to the grand final.
