Bonza is set to take off from Avalon for the Gold Coast on Christmas Eve.
The flights were due to start earlier this month but were put on hold because of regulatory issues with two planes.
The budget airline says that’s been resolved and it will increase its operations and service the new route from its Gold Coast base.

Jetstar had been been offering alternate flight options to the Gold Coast and Cairns for Bonza customers who’d been left stranded when the airline was unable to fulfill their purchased tickets.
