Bonza's future is now in doubt after Tuesday's (BONZA).

Budget airline Bonza’s gone into voluntary administration just 15-months after it launched.

All flights have been cancelled – including the services from Avalon – after its planes were re-possessed.

It was announced last week that the airline would be decreasing it’s services going forward, but many were shocked on Tuesday morning to arrive at airports and discover their flights had been cancelled.

Both Qantas and Virgin have stepped in to help stranded passengers.

In a statement on their website, Binza said they hoped to continue flying.

“Bonza has temporarily suspended services due to be operated between Tues 30 April, Wed 1 and Thur 2 May, as discussions are currently underway regarding the ongoing viability of the business,” it read.

“We apologise to our customers who are impacted by this and we’re working as quickly as possible to determine a way forward that ensures there is ongoing competition in the Australian domestic aviation market.”

Bonza first began flights on January 31 last year.
