A young child has died in a collision in Ocean Grove.
Police were called to reports a car had lost control on Presidents Avenue just before 5pm Friday, colliding with a child who was on the footpath.
The four-year-old died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 71-year-old woman from Ocean Grove, was arrested and will be interviewed.
Police say the circumstances around the collision are yet to be determined, and the investigation is continuing.
They are asking for anyone who saw the collision, or may have dash cam or CCTV footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
