Christmas spirit is set to take over the Greater Geelong community.
The Denis Walter Carols by the Bay is expected to attract big crowds down to the foreshore on Saturday evening.
Pre-show will start at 6:30pm, with the main event getting underway from 8pm.
Alongside the performance, onlookers will be celebrating the official opening of the Floating Christmas Tree.
Event organisers are hoping the rain will stay away so everyone can enjoy the event.
Parts of Western and Eastern Beach roads will be closed to vehicles from 4pm tomorrow as final preparations get underway.
Free parking will be available at Westfield’s yellow ground level car park from 6pm.
City Hall is also getting festive, set to be lit up with projections of artwork from local kinder kids.
The budding artists were asked to draw, colour, and express what kindness and hope mean to them at Christmas.
