Council to address aquatic costs

Geelong Council is set to look at the cost of using the new Norlane Aquatic Recreational Centre.

Councillor Sarah Hathway moving at Tuesday night’s council meeting to find ways to make the centre more accessible for locals.

The councilor adding it was essential to get more locals into the centre.

For a casual entry, an adult pays $15 for access to the swim, sauna and spa, while a concession pays $11.50.

A child over the age of five pays $6.40 for a swim, with free entry for children below that age.

Group prices and multi passes are also available.

Council’s budget was also approved at the meeting.
