A Ford Ranger has been destroyed in an early morning blaze in Breakwater.
Emergency services were called to reports of an explosion and the car fire outside a school on St Albans Road just before 5am, finding the vehicle well alight.
The CFA says flames had spread to nearby grass but crews had the incident quickly under control.

Police say the vehicle, with allegedly stolen number plates, may have also been involved in a burglary on Crown Street, South Geelong, earlier in the night.
The offenders were seen leaving the area in a white ute.
