Dog attacks drop across region

The number of dog attacks in Greater Geelong has dropped slightly.

Figures show there were 212 attacks locally in the last 12-months, down from 224..

The Herald Sun says there were 19 incidents on humans and 61 serious attacks on animals.

Data shows that across Melbourne there were more than 3,000 attacks in the past 18 months, but was still down 22 per cent.
