Emergency services have responded to an early morning blaze in Herne Hill.
They were called to the unit fire around 4.30am on Wednesday, the incident treated as suspicious.
The 27-year-old male occupant of the Karoomba Avenue address was evacuated and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A crime scene has been established and the investigation is ongoing.
