Crowds have continued pouring into the botanic gardens well into the night and early morning to see the corpse flower.
The plant finally bloomed yesterday, with lines to enter the gardens stretching to well outside the gardens yesterday.
Caller Leon telling Geelong Broadcasters’ Tom, Lingy and Loggy the lines were long even in the wee hours.

“My wife went down at around half past four this morning,” he said.
“I convinced her to go down – there was an hour long wait to get in even at that hour.”
