Michael Tudball will take the reigns as interim CEO of the Golden Plains Shire.
It’s been announced that Eric Braslis will finish with council on May 3 after six and a half years in the role.
Golden Plains Shire Council Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham praised Tudball for stepping into the role.
“Michael steps into this vital role and will guide the organisation through this transition period while Council undertakes a thorough recruitment process for a permanent replacement,” he said.
He also thanked Braslis for his role with the council.
“Eric’s outstanding leadership set our Council up for success, steering the organisation through some challenging times, helping them through the pandemic, floods and fires.”
Council has begun recruitment for a permanent CEO.
