Homicide Squad detectives will investigate the death of a woman in Werribee.
They arrested a man at the scene, set to interview him in relation to the incident.
It’s understood the two are known to each other, and police are not looking for anyone else in connection to the death.

Police were called to the Retford Close address just after 9am on Thursday, finding the woman deceased at the scene.
They will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
