It’s been revealed two inmates at the Melbourne Youth Justice Centre held a female prison guard captive.. refusing orders to return to their rooms.
The Herald Sun is reporting the incident happened last Friday.
Inmates at Little River’s Cherry Creek facility held a makeshift knife to the throat of a worker and stole their access cards in July.

Two incidents were also recorded at the Cherry Creek facility earlier this month, including an inmate being beaten and stabbed in another incident.
The incidents were reported to police for further investigation.
