Victoria will become the second state behind Tasmania to ban the Nazi salute after new laws made it through parliament overnight.
People caught performing the offensive gesture will face a $23,000 fine or 12-months behind bars.
A group of neo-Nazi’s caused outrage earlier this year when they gave the salute on the steps of Geelong Town Hall.
