The Australian Red Cross Lifeblood has given an urgent call out for those who can donate blood over the next fortnight.
It comes as the organisation’s blood and plasma inventory is already feeling the impacts of a seasonal drop in donations.
Geelong has a permanent blood bank on Ryrie Street, which can accept all types of donations.

Other centres are also open in Werribee and Colac.
