A busy weekend ahead in Geelong tourism with the sun out
Motoring festival Geelong Revival is taking place on the waterfront, featuring hundreds of cars, motorbikes, trucks, and caravans.
Key events include the Shannons Classic Motorshow, the Quarter Mile Sprint, and the Vintage Fashion Awards.
Over 50,000 people are expected to attend across the two days.
The Queenscliff Music Festival is also happening this weekend, with the program set to kick off this afternoon.
The festival was founded in 1997, with over 10,000 people in attendance every year
Last minute tickets are still available.
Tourism Greater Geelong and the Bellarine CEO Tracy Carter said it essential to get the ball rolling for the local operators.
“It’s important for our tourism and hospitality sector,” she said.
“It feels like a head start, and it sets them up for a really good summer.”
