A man who allegedly exposed himself to a nine-year-old girl on the Bellarine Rail Trail has been arrested.
The 55-year-old Clifton Springs man was arrested on Friday following the alleged incident in Curlewis last Monday.
The man reportedly sat next to the child on a bench and started speaking to her, police say he then exposed himself to the girl and grabbed her on the arm.

She managed to break free and run off, and police were called.
The girl was not physically injured during the incident.
The man was interviewed by police and has subsequently been charged with a range of offences including abduction/detention of a child.
He was remanded to appear at Geelong Magistrates’ Court.
