A Wyndham man is facing charges following an alleged hit-run.
Police were called to reports a Nissan Pathfinder had collided with a Toyota Corolla in Hoppers Crossing around 10.30pm Thursday.
The driver of the Nissan then ran off.
A Wyndham Vale woman, who was driving the Toyota, was treated at the scene by paramedics.
Police arrested the alleged driver a short time later following a search of the area.
Officers searched the vehicle, allegedly finding two weapons and substances believed to be drugs.
A 20-year-old from Point Cook has been charged with various offences including failing to exchange details at a collision.
He has been bailed to face court in April next year.
