A man will face court after being arrested during a dramatic foot chase in Geelong’s CBD on Monday.
The 34-year-old was run down by officers on Ryrie Street around 3.35pm.
Police say he was charged with a string of offences, including seven counts of possessing a drug of dependence, and one count of possessing a controlled weapon.

At the time of his arrest he was also wanted for theft of a Bicycle, charged with another count of theft.
The man has been remanded in custody to face court this week.
