Worksafe have been called after a man in his 20s was crushed by cows at a local abattoir.
The man was injured around two yesterday while in a cattle truck, and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
He was taken to the Royal Melbourne in a serious but stable condition.

Worksafe were notified about the incident and are expected to investigate the situation.
