A Werribee man has been arrested following a fatal assault.
Homicide squad detectives are now investigating the incident from last night.
“A man was located with life-threatening injuries inside a Everwin Drive property about 7.10pm,” a statement from police said.

“He was transported to hospital where he died several hours later.
“A 55-year-old Werribee man was arrested at the scene and is expected to be interviewed.”
Police have called for anyone who may have information, including CCTV footage, is encouraged to contact crimestoppers.
