A community march is being held this morning for a young girl killed in a crash at Stonehaven one year ago today.
Mia Rossier died in the collision on January 3, 2024, while other members of her family were also injured.
The 12-year-old’s family have organised Mia’s March, which will get underway at 10am at the Geelong Law Court precinct.
It will then make its way to the Rotunda at Eastern Beach on Geelong’s waterfront.
Mia’s family say the march is not just for them, but everyone who has lost someone or had someone seriously injured in a crash.
They are hoping to raise awareness of the state’s road toll.
Two-hundred and 82 people died on Victorian roads in 2024.
