Golden Plains has a new councillor following the resignation of Lachlan Glen.
The Victorian Electoral Commission held a countback of votes on Monday to fill the vacancy.
Gavin Gamble was declared the winner.

He has previously served on council, and was mayor for one term in 2021/22.
Mr Gamble will join his fellow councillors once he takes the Oath or Affirmation of Office.
Cr Glen resigned in December after being elected in October, citing personal reasons.
