More than 100 kindergarten positions for three and four year olds will be accessible at Oberon Primary School in 2026.
The state government announcing that two a new modular kinder – which is built off site then assembled at the school – will open for term one.
It’s the latest announced of 25 planned for the area.
Member for Geelong Christine Couzens says it’s a huge addition to the region.
“The future Oberon Primary School Kindergarten is one of 25 new kinders opening at or near government schools in 2026,” she said.
“These kinders will collectively deliver more than 3,200 kindergarten places for local children.
“The project responds to strong local demand for kindergarten in the Belmont area and will ensure local families have ongoing access to sessional kindergarten programs.”
