Lalor MP Joanne Ryan says Labor is committed to two major Wyndham projects.
The sitting member announcing five million dollars for the Soldiers Reserve Pavillion in Werribee, as well as a promise to finish the Wyndham Ring Road.
Mrs Ryan saying the ring road project will include a new bridge connecting Wyndham Vale with Tarneit.
She said on social media that work and funding had increased since Labor came to power.
“Wyndham Council has received over $13 million — $5.7 million more than what the Liberals would have offered — for essential local road upgrades,” she wrote.
“We’re upgrading intersections along Ballan Road at Greens-Ballan-McGarth Road and Armstrongs Road.
“And we’re not stopping there; stage 2 of the Wyndham Ring Road is on the way, connecting Armstrongs Road in Wyndham Vale with Sayers Rd in Tarneit.”
