A Wyndham man has been seriously injured in a double stabbing in Melbourne’s inner west.
The 37-year-old from Hoppers Crossing was talking to another man in a Footscray store on Monday afternoon when they were approached by a third man, who reportedly produced a knife from his jacket.
The pair were stabbed in what police described as an unprovoked attack.
The Hoppers man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a 39-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
However, police have releasedimages of a man they believe could hel with their investigation.
