A teenage girl has been taken to hospital following an attempted carjacking in Wyndham Vale.
Police have been told three males and a girl approached a man and woman at the corner of Stream Road and Paramount Boulevard just before 1am Monday, allegedly armed with a hammer and knife.
The group allegedly demanded the car before a fight broke out,

The 17-year-old girl and the three boys were found a short time later at a nearby train station.
The girl suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The male teenagers aged 14, 16 and 18 were arrested.
Police say the man suffered minor injuries but did not need medical treatment.
