Report into man’s death in CBD

A report will be prepared for the coroner after a man was found dead in the CBD yesterday.

The man’s body was located near an office building on Malop Street yesterday afternoon.

A police spokesperson confirmed the death was being examined.

“Police will prepare a report for the coroner after a deceased male was located inside a building on Malop St in Geelong,” she said.

“The exact cause of the yet-to-be-formally-identified man’s death is yet to be determined but is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.”
