The community has been left shocked following an act of animal cruelty.
The horse, Muffin, had to be put down after being shot in the leg with an arrow a week ago.
Police say they are investigating the circumstances of the incident.

Three children are said to have been seen in the area by neighbours with hoods over their faces.
