Two roads on the Bellarine Peninsula are set for partial reconstruction and sealing works.
Geelong councillors voted to support the works in Drysdale and Portarlington, following complaints and a petition from residents calling for the improvements.
Willis Street in Portarlington will be worked on between Harding and Brown streets.
The council will give notice of its intention to declare a Special Charge Scheme for the street.
The second Special Charge Scheme will be for Newcombe Street between Princess Street and The Glen in Drysdale.
The City of Greater Geelong says the focus of the works will be to ensure safety for all road users.
