Winds of close to 60km have hit the region during an intense storm.
Heavy rain and hail hit the region yesterday afternoon, with reports of trees coming down during the storm in parts of the region.
While the rain was heavy while falling, gauges only picked up around half a mil for the day.

There have so far been no major reports of damage across the region.
The weather is expected to calm down today with a cloudy day and a top of 17.
