Suspicious North Geelong blaze

Fire crews have responded to a fire in North Geelong, handing the case on to police as it was considered suspicious.

Firefighters from FRV and CFA were called to a car fire threatening a nearby tin shed on Mornington Street at 2:21am on Sunday.

They arrived on scene within five minutes, the scene deemed Under Control at 2.31am.

The scene was then handed over to Victoria Police.

The power and gas companies were asked to attend.
