A Wyndham teenager has been charged after an aggravated burglary in Tarneit.
Investigators will allege three offenders stole two sets of car keys from a property on Cobalt Street around 3.20am on Thursday.
A male occupant of the house reportedly heard the vehicles being started when the offenders returned around 7am.
The resident was then allegedly struck by one of his own cars while trying to stop the trio from fleeing.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with a number of offences, including home invasion, theft of a motor vehicle, and conduct endangering life.
He was remanded to face a children’s court at a later date.
The investigation remains ongoing as police search for the other people involved.
