Seven teenagers have been arrested following a late night police chase across Wyndham.
The stolen Skoda SUV was seen speeding in Wyndham Vale just after 11pm Tuesday.
The police helicopter was called in, helping officers on the ground following the vehicle through Werribee, Tarneit and Point Cook.
The Skoda was dumped in Point Cook, with several occupants getting into a Volvo, allegedly heading towards Little River before returning to Werribee.
Police say the Volvo hit a tree in Truganina, with five occupants quickly arrested at the scene.
Two others ran off but were arrested a short time later after being found with the help of the chopper.
Police allegedly found weapons n both vehicles.
The Skoda is believed to have been stolen during an aggravated burglary in Tarneit over the weekend, while the Volvo was allegedly stolen from Tarneit on Tuesday.
The teenagers will be interviewed.
