Telstra customers in the Lara and Corio areas are reporting outages on Wednesday afternoon, with services interrupted in Geelong’s north.
The telco’s website suggests an ‘unplanned service interruption’ has caused 3G, 4G and 5G services to all be affected.
The messaging says the estimated restoration won’t be until 10am Thursday morning.

The latest update read “an equipment fault is affecting the 4G network in (the area). Our technicians are onsite and working to fix the issue.”
Telstra says it’s working to get the service back online.
