A motorist is in a stable condition in hospital after a crash between a car and a motorbike on the Great Ocean Road near Lorne.
Emergency services were called to the collision near Big Hill around 4:30pm yesterday, and a helicopter soon followed.
Health authorities say a man in his 20’s was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with upper and lower body injuries in a serious condition.
This morning the hospital said his condition is stable.
Another man in his 20’s with a suspected upper body injury was taken to Lorne hospital in a stable condition, and another for observation.
The road remained closed in both directions for several hours after the accident, with traffic being diverted inland.
