A truck has crashed into a parked car on the Geelong Ring Road, causing all southbound lanes to be closed in the Bell Post Hill area on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2pm, fortunately no one was inside the car at the time and the truck driver was uninjured.
It’s unclear why the car was parked on the highway with police called to investigate the incident.

The Geelong Ring Road heading towards Colac has been closed between the Anakie Rd and Ballarat Rd exits, and it’s unclear when it may reopen.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the highway and take Princes Hwy through Corio and North Geelong instead.
