Boaters can now use the upgraded boat ramp at Avalon Beach.
The $1.8 million project has seen 25 new car and trailer parks added to the 11 existing spaces.
There is also a 15m extension to the jetty on the western side of the ramp, providing more space for boaters to tie up.

The Eastern jetty has been rebuilt and extended by six metres.
Locals use the ramp to access Corio and Port Phillip bays.
The funding has been provided through boaters’ registration and licence fees.
