A woman has been arrested over an assault in Belmont.
Police allege the woman stole a bottle of alcohol from a store on High Street around 5pm Saturday.
She then returned to the store less than two-hours later, allegedly assaulting the staff member.

An 18-year-old from Torquay was arrested and a small knife seized at the scene.
She has been bailed to face a Geelong court on March 4.
The staff member suffered minor injuries in the incident and did not medical treatment.
