A woman has been charged over a fatal crash in Mount Moriac, which claimed the life of a 62-year-old man just days before Christmas.

The driver of the Mazda, a 28-year-old Oakleigh woman, has since been charged with dangerous driving causing death, careless driving and fail to stop at stop sign.

She has been bailed to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court later this week.

Another passenger of the Mazda, a 22-year-old Docklands woman, was flown to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and the fourth passenger of the Mazda and the sole occupant of the Toyota were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
