Former East Geelong star Tim McLennan will return to action in 2025 with Central Highlands club Rokewood Corindhap.

McLennan hung up the boots following the 2023 season after 101 games in six seasons at Richmond Crescent.

The 2022 Whitley medallist was unveiled earlier this week as joining the Hoppers.

“This signing has our senior coaching team absolutely buzzing with excitement,” a post on the club’s Facebook page said.

“They know what a game-changer it is to have a premier ruckman at the heart of the engine room, and it was at the very top of their recruiting list for this exact reason.

“Over the last several years, our A-grade midfield has been a powerhouse, but they’ve often lacked the quality service they need to truly dominate games.

“With Tim’s proven ruck craft and leadership, we’re confident that our midfielders will get the clean delivery they’ve been waiting for, which will directly lead to sharper, more consistent opportunities for our forward line and extra support at all stoppages.

“We are also confident that our young and developing rucks will benefit hugely from working with and learning from Tim.”
