Inverleigh vice-captain Jarrod Love is free to play in Saturday’s must-win clash with the Belmont Lions after accepting a reprimand for an incident in last weekend’s loss to Werribee Centrals.

Love received a yellow card for striking Centurion Josh McDonald during the opening term of the Hawks’ loss at Morton Power Oval.

The incident was assessed by AFL Barwon’s Match Review Panel as careless conduct, low impact, and high contact, attracting a one-match suspension.

However, Love’s early guilty plea has resulted in the penalty being reduced to a reprimand.

Meanwhile, the MRP report also confirmed that the charge laid against St Joseph’s star James Gow for rough conduct on Geelong West’s Tex Mitchell had been withdrawn.
