Leopold has further added to its forward firepower following the signing of former Geelong Falcons big man Max Annandale.
The Queenscliff product played 16 games for the Falcons in 2019 and as a 19-year-old in 2021.
After being overlooked in the AFL Draft, Annandale took his talents west ahead of the 2022 season, joining East Perth.
However, a hip issue required surgery early that year, and he managed just one reserves game with the Royals.
Annandale has been joined at Memorial Park by Jake Edwards from Park Orchards in the Eastern League.
Edwards will have no trouble fitting in at the reigning GFNL premier, having played at Hampden League club Portland alongside Lions stars Harris Jennings and Connor Giddings.
Annandale and Edwards join the previously announced Sam Dukalskis as new arrivals at Leopold, with 2022 grand final players Jake Pitt and Tom Scott also confirmed as returning.
It is understood veteran midfielder Ollie Tate, who juggled playing with Geelong VFL coaching commitments in 2023, will be available full-time next year.
Meanwhile, St Albans has added journeyman Ross Celano from BFNL grand finalist Drysdale.
Celano, who was limited to just three senior games, including the first semi-final win over Anglesea, after suffering a broken ankle in Round 2, has also played locally with Portarlington and North Shore.
Before moving to the region, he played with Gisborne in the Bendigo League and Avondale Heights in the Essendon and District League while spending two years on Footscray’s VFL list.
Celano, who has signed a two-year deal, is the first signing announced by the Supersaints, who have lost Michael Murdoch and Josh Wilson to Belmont Lions and Josh Saltalamacchia to Newcomb.
