SHANE Jack has been reappointed as senior coach of GFL club Bell Park for 2021.
Jack, who shared the role with the long-serving Tim Sheringham last year, was due to go it alone before COVID-19 brought a halt to the 2020 season.
“It is reassuring for our playing group, members, sponsors and supporters in these times to know that we have re-signed Shane to oversee our senior group,” a statement on the Dragons’ Facebook page said on Tuesday night.
“The hard work, dedication and professionalism of such an outstanding coach such as Shane puts the club in good stead for the 2021 season.
“His commitment and care to the health and well-being and welfare of our playing group, president, officials, assistants and volunteers during this difficult time has been hugely appreciated.
“He is a massive influence within the club; his passion and enthusiasm at the Dragons is unparalleled.
“We are excited to see the next phase in his leadership, both on and off the ground.”

While Jack won’t get the chance to lead the Dragons at senior level in 2020, he is co-coaching the club’s under-10 girls team and will play a role with the under-19 boys.
Jack’s appointment was the last to be finalised for next year, with every coach appointed for this year, bar Chris Carlon at St Albans, to lead their club in 2021.
